| In
2002, he returned to Madrid, Spain for the summer and completed the book
that year.
Brian hit the road again in January 2003, for seven months to visit the nine countries of Southeast Asia. He returned with enough research and experiences to create the second book in the series! Explore Western Europe was released by 1stbooks Library (Now AuthorHouse) in October 2003 and is available through the publisher and major online booksellers worldwide, including Amazon and Barnes-n-Nobles Booksellers, respectively. He has since moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, started a family with a more than wonderful dutch princess and is completing Explore Southeast Asia. Having homebase in one of his favorite Western European cultures is thrilling for him, because he loves Bitterballen ;) If you have any questions about Booking Workshops, Book Signings, or General Comments, feel free to email Brian directly. There's a great big world out there, Explore It!

Brian Bibi creates the Explore Travel Activity Book Series from his personal experiences abroad. He travels, researches, writes, illustrates and designs each book himself. It is the crowning achievement of an award-winning graphic designer turned educator. Short Bio: Brian Bibi was born June 1976 in Niles, Michigan, USA. As a child, he found the visual arts a great vehicle for expression and took to it like a fish to water. In 1998, after receiving a BFA in Graphic Design from Western Michigan University, Brian moved to Chicago to begin designing at one of the top design firms in the city. In 2001, after receiving many awards for graphic design and feeling less than fulfilled, he took a sabbatical to Western Europe. Brian's first sketches abroad planted a seed. Quickly drawing a scene out the window of the Eurostar Speed Train connecting England to France, it was a "color-by-number." (That drawing is now the cover of Explore Western Europe.) He returned refreshed and determined to develop the "Travel Activity Book" idea. |
